Well, now that the Cubs are down untill 2009 here are my predictions for the NLCS and ALCS...
NLCS---Phillies vs. Dodgers
I look for the Phillies to take this series. Even though the Dodgers are playing really well right now, I think the Phillies offense will lead the way to victory. Utley, Howard, and Rollins will take Philadelphia to the World Series. I like the Dodgers pitching, but Philly will put up a better offensive attack then the Cubs. Manny will make this a good series. He is hitting the cover off of the ball. I see an offensive battle in the series. Let's go with Phillies in 7.
ALCS---Red Sox vs Rays
I see the Red Sox and their playoff experience taking this series. The Rays are the cinderella team that I am rooting for, but I just don't see it happening. The Bo Sox took down the AL's best team in 4 games. The Rays pitching staff will keep these games close. But, there is certainly something to be said for experience, something the Rays don't have. Great run for the Rays, but it comes up short here. Red Sox in 6.
